"The ÜberCharge bar fills up faster if the Medic heals wounded allies instead of focusing on healthy ones. (This leads to a Soldier/Demoman strategy of intentionally damaging oneself to build up a Medic's ÜberCharge.) This is called 'leeching' or 'übering up'. This is no longer necessary to do during set-up as the charge rate was increased in the December 20th patch, in 2007. "

I have seen a lot of players doing this and they insist that this is not true.

As a medic I noticed that uber fills at the fastest rate during setup. Could someone pelase confirm

yep its no longer needed to damage in setup time for building uber as it builds up at fastest time anyway.

but yeah - damaging can be done if the medic wants free points

I know that.. i Just like jumping around in the setup time .. coz there is nothing else to do..

they removed the shooting from grate exploit.

that used to be fun. now i see everybody acting retarded during setup time

Yeah lol, grate exploit is fun and it will fun after u get banned too o_0

A few servers have restrictions on spawn camping too these days.
